As an experiment, the Ku Klux Klan decided to find an intelligent black person to speak at a huge rally, and they chose you! What will you say? Compose a mini-speech of 350 to 550 words. You could speak out against racism, try to convince them of their error of their ways, etc. Remember that your response must be written as a mini-speech.
***As with any school assignment, speak your mind intelligently and responsibly. I know, it's the KKK, but cursing or hateful language is not acceptable.
I'm here today to talk about racism something that us blacks have been dealing with for years. We all want to be treated equal and put these injustices to rest. Aren't we tired of dealing with sitting in the back of the bus not being able to sit where we please, the labeled fountains and separated schools that we have to attend and not being able to get the proper education that we deserve. It's about time that we take a stand against all the hatred, I believe we don't have to respond with the act of violence but if its at least with words to show them that we're not scared of them. Together we can be a team and show them that we can fight for what we believe in and as the amendment says we have the freedom of speech and we shall use it. We all were created equal and that’s how we should be treated no race is superior then the other. These KKK's or Ku Klux Klan as they call themselves have done horrible things to our people and we shouldn’t be afraid to talk about this situation it has to stop we need to put an end to this especially for the future generations. We don’t want our children having to suffer with these same situations after we are gone we want this world to be at peace. We want everyone to get along with each other and everyone is being treated fair and able to have the same opportunity as one another. ReplyDeleteIf a key Klux Klan person chose me to speak at a rally from start off I would say we all are equals and in my opinion I believe in speaking the truth to all man kind. As for color race and etc. I would want to tell them how I really feel about the way the Ku Klux Klan run things. Second I would tell them off like listen here I believe in treating people the right way as well as I want to be treated to. Am not any different but am intelligent. Am trying to bring the word out hoping that the words am saying now I want it to make a change to all man kind. For the simple fact Ku Klux Klan looks at blacks as hatred people. I want people to leave here speechless. I want the society to change. Everything is possible noting is not in possible. Things are hard right now but whites need to listen and understand what going on need to change. People can change and you surely can be forgiven. But as much as the Ku Klux Klan damage our life and the way we live we can’t forgave them. The pain we hold inside, the things we see. Each and every day we have to worry if any of our family members will die or if the Ku Klux Klan will come and burn down our house over nonsense. But no I believe that they just don’t take life serious. Once whites live well they want us blacks to feel pain. I don’t want to be stuck in a position that people are confuse and it don’t matter to the white. I want to talk to the whites and ask them why they do the things they do. How does it feel when they burn down a cross or killing black? I want to understand racism is a big thing but whites don’t understand that. They just believe by hurting blacks and treating them this way will change everything. It would because as much action whites did to us we will always remember. It about time we stand up for what we believe in and try to make a change in the world.

Meaning why would yall wanna be evil killing nd torture people with a different color skin or different race. ReplyDeleteWe have gathered here today to gain an understanding. First I would like to ask what is an American? An American is defined as a native or inhabitant of the United States. Now it is quite obvious that America has never been nor will it ever be a place with a 100% white population. With that being said, why do you hate other races so much? Before you answer that question, let’s discuss the foundation principles of the KKK which are as stated “Patriotism, justice, humanity, protection, preservation of real law and good government, and the establishment of white supremacy forever.” Three things that are really distinct are words justice & humanity and lastly “The establishment of white supremacy forever.” Justice is defined as quality of being just or fair. So is it fair to hate someone because of their race, religion, ethnicity or sexual preference and you know absolutely nothing about them? Humanity is defined as the quality of being humane. So is it humane for your organization to continue spreading messages of hate and committing acts of violence? Hasn’t the last 144 years been enough? Most importantly I want to diminish any thoughts you have of a utopia that is 100% white. Whether you can accept it or not African-Americans, Latinos, Indians and every race in between is here to stay. Every race in the world has a claim to fame in America. Face it Americans are lazy and this has been proven since the beginning of this nation. This is why Europeans traveled to the side of the world and robbed it of its wealth and resources and brought it back to America, as if that wasn’t enough they enslaved the Native Americans and forced them to work the fields. After the Native Americans were killed off or worked to death, they decided to bring Africans to America. Generations passed and now we have people like you and I, who are descendants of slaves and slave masters. By all means you are entitled to the right free speech and express your views but so am I, so I would like to express my views of the KKK. You are a part of one of the most ignorant organizations on the planet, no one wants to hear your tired rants anymore and if they do, they are just as ignorant as you. Nothing you say or do can justify your actions. And if you’re going to harm someone, have the heart to show your face, don’t hide behind those sheets. Lastly, I would like to thank you for your time. ReplyDeleteI don’t have any issues with Europeans or white Americans but when you people organize a group with the objective to intentionally inflict harm against minorities then I’m going to have a problem with anybody who agrees with these ignorant methods of terrorism. For some reason you hate people of color, homosexuals, whites that befriended blacks and pretty much anyone who isn’t purely white and rejects the views of the KKK. I don’t understand this at all… but I accept it. You don’t mess with me I don’t mess with you I just hope you can accept that.
